Apricots, Pears & Peaches

This book is an experiment in preserving one family's legacy. Instead of formaldehyde or brine, we used fiction.

Moritz is aboard the Hindenburg’s last flight. Fruit canning is his business, but he needs to preserve more than his beloved fruit – Hitler’s regime has its eyes on his family.

Günter is a 9-year old boy trying to make sense of what is going on in Germany. We follow him in the aftermath of Kristallnacht, on the Isle of Man and on the day the Berlin Wall comes up.
